For years the food industry has been gradually degrading our standards and tastes to the point where many Americans can’t recall what “good food” really is. Maybe you grew up in a time when food was purchased from your local farmer or butcher and your family cooked up REAL FOOD, with REAL INGREDIENTS, bought from REAL PEOPLE, each and every day. Our premium, farm raised flavor is a direct result of how our cattle are raised, finished, and butchered.
Rath Farms Cattle are naturally and ethically raised on our farms right here in Renfrew, Pennsylvania where they are able to graze freely on pasture for their food. Cows that are put into our Beef Program are finished on free choice grain in addition to grazing on grass and hay to ensure a tender and flavorful product that is sure to please any true meat connoisseur. Our cattle are then transported by us to one of three USDA Inspected Butcher Shops where they are processed and the meat is dry aged, cut, vacuum sealed, and frozen to lock in that perfect flavor. That meat is then transported back to the Farm in our Temperature Controlled ICE BOX freezer trailer. It is the culmination of these efforts that enables us to deliver you that long sought after quality and flavor.
